Diamond Verification Services (DVS) – the trading name for Sheffield Supplies Limited (a Sheffield Assay Office company) – offers a set diamond service: a diamond jewellery testing service designed to verify that all diamonds within your jewellery are natural.
As the number of lab-grown diamonds in the market continues to soar, we recognised an urgent need for retailers, and consumers alike, to have access to a fully independent, specialist service that can accurately identify the presence of natural or lab-grown/synthetic diamonds. Our process is also fully RJC/BSI/ISO accredited.
GOODS REQUIREMENTS & SUBMISSIONS
Goods submitted to us for verification need to meet certain requirements in respect of colour, size and cleanliness and must be accompanied by the necessary paperwork.
SHIPPING & INVOICING
Goods should be shipped to our Sheffield laboratory where verification will take place. Each piece will be returned subdivided (as per the results) into specific categories.
REPORTS
We can provide both retailer and consumer reports, in A5 and A6 format, which will be sent back with your parcel, with any issues with stones being brought to your attention promptly.
